ROUNDERS: TALENTED teenager Harriet Gill has been selected for the Great Britain under-18s rounders squad.
The 15-year-old is the first Oldham Hulme Grammar School pupil to enter the GB set-up.
After impressing for the school team last year, Harriet was selected for England under-16s, and made a good impression on coaches.
Head of PE Jo Knighton said: “Harriet has gone from strength-to-strength over the last 12 months.
“Having already done well for England in her age group, she has now been promoted to Great Britain’s under-18s squad for a training camp in Sheffield.
“Harriet is a Jack of all trades because she has also been one of our leading netball players of the last couple of years.”
