Thunder signs Armitage

NETBALL:
NORTHERN Thunder netball team have secured the services of 6ft 1in shooter Lynsey Armitage for the rest of the season.
Former England international Armitage is set to join up with the squad next week ahead of the Sky-televised match against Team Bath.
Two weeks ago, Thunder were let down when Trinidad and Tobago shooter Anastascia Wilson was unable to rejoin the squad due to international commitments.
