St Anne’s humbled
IT was a woeful day for local sides in the Kukri North-West Counties League.
In Division One, basement boys Oldham St Anne’s ‘A’ were humbled 84-4 by fourth-placed Haydock.
Higginshaw were left kicking their heels in Division Three — they were awarded an 18-0 win as Pilkington Recs ‘A’ were unable to fulfil the fixture — but Saddleworth Rangers ‘A’ were beaten 40-14 at West Bank Swans in Division Four and Rochdale Cobras lost 24-10 at high-flying Hindley.
