RUGBY LEAGUE: SADDLEWORTH Rangers go in search of a fifth straight National Conference League Premier Division win tomorrow.
But Keith Brennan’s men will need to be at the top of their game to continue a red-hot run of form.
Rangers make the trip to Leigh East, who are hard on the heels of high-flying Thatto Heath Crusaders.
The Greenfield outfit were in midweek action, and defied a terrific second-half fightback to defeat Bradford Dudley Hill 36-28 in a cracking encounter.
Leading 24-8 at one stage, Rangers found themselves 28-24 behind with 13 minutes to go, before regrouping to clinch a nail-biting win.
In Division One, Oldham St Anne’s hit the road to mid-table Milford Marlins.
Mick Cashin’s side are too close to the bottom three for comfort but, in a competitive division, they are also within touching of tomorrow’s hosts.
Waterhead face a stern examination in Division Two.
The Peach Road side, who are just above the re-election places, are at home to second-in-the-table Eastmoor Dragons.
Waterhead are on the comeback trail after being humbled 54-10 by Ovenden.
All matches kick-off at 2.30pm.
