Club reunion marks launch of new book

CRICKET:

EX-PLAYERS from High Crompton St Mary’s Cricket Club are being asked to support the launch of a new book charting the club’s history.

The reunion, to be held at High Crompton Conservative Club tomorrow, will bring together players past and present, as well as providing the club with much needed funds from book sales.

Co-author Allan Cadman said the book has a humorous twist, as well as providing full post-war player records, scorebooks and biographies.

He and fellow author Garth Dykes have collaborated primarily for grass roots cricket enthusiasts and former players.
