Dynamic duo make early impression

GOLF: WERNETH’S new captain and vice-captain Quentin Cartwright and Lee Rowbotham proved themselves a formidable pairing on their first outing at the club’s Captain’s drive-in.

After Cartwright had smashed his drive down the middle at the ceremonial opening of the new season, the duo went on to score 46 points in the better-ball Stableford event to claim second place behind Ian Hartley and Glenn Shaw (47).
