High fives for ‘C’ team

SNOOKER:
OLDHAM Academy ‘C’ clinched the Manchester Snooker League Division Two title with a 5-2 win over nearest rivals Great Moor Cons.
On the mark were MT Ahmed, K Mahmood and N Khan.
The Academy’s ‘B’ team hold a three-point lead with one game to go in Division One.
In their latest encounter, wins for Abu Miah, Tanveer Hussain and Dr Majid Ali, plus the aggregate, clinched a 5-2 success over Frames ‘A’, of Hyde.
But Academy ‘A’ suffered a third straight defeat, losing 5-2 at Frames ‘B’. Craig Atherton and Sajid Zamurd got the consolation victories.
