Whitewash delight for Deaf ‘A’
Date published: 13 April 2011
SNOOKER: DEAF ‘A’ were in a devasting form in the Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
Blue Club ‘B’ were the unfortunate victims as they succumbed 6-0.
Deaf ‘B’, away to CBC, featured breaks of 40 from Danny Reece and 32 from M J Smith in a 4-2 victory.
Nick Broadbent’s break of 37 was in vain for St Paul’s. Not only did he lose his frame, but the team went down to a heavy 5-1 defeat at home to Stanley Road.
