LACROSSE: OLDHAM Lacrosse Club are appealing for players to give the sport a try.
A number of first teamers have left in recent years, forcing them to run on the reserves.
James Clegg, from Oldham LC, is keen to boost the numbers, and he said: “No experience is required, and we can provide spare kits to train, but we will need to be contacted."
The senior team, for ages 16 and above, train and play at Oldham Cricket Club.
Membership costs an initial £40, and £5 per game thereafter, or alternatively £12.50 a month.
Juniors aged between nine and 16 are also welcome to join, they train at Saddleworth School on Monday nights, 5.45pm to 6.45pm. Training is free and a full season membership costs £69.50.
