Title joy for Moss

SNOOKER: AFTER losing only three of the first 31 games in the Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League, leaders Little Cot ‘A’ have now suffered three 5-1 defeats in their last four matches.
High Crompton were the first team to put Cot ‘A’ to the sword, followed by North Chadd and most recently Moss Inn ‘A’.
If that trend continues — there are still 18 points to play for — Cot could well be caught by the chasing pack.
Danny Reece is turning into something of a break machine. He recorded another entry on the high breaks table with 30 break for Deaf ‘B’, who overcame Moss ‘B’ 4-2.
Kenny Bamford was also in fine form, recording a 30 break for Blue Club ‘B’ as they defeated Springbank ‘B’ by the same scoreline.
Royton Band and Springbank ‘A’ both registered 6-0 whitewash victories.
MOSS Inn clinched the Saw-Tech Shaw Snooker League in style with a 5-1 win at Cricket.
