Kay hits two for Lilywhites

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: GARETH McClelland stretched his unbeaten run as Mossley caretaker-manager to four matches last night as the Lilywhites won 3-1 at Leigh Genesis in the Evo-Stik League Division One North.
In-form midfielder Matty Kay put the visitors in front after 23 minutes, and defender Michael Thomas soon doubled the advantage.
David Webb reduced the deficit for the hosts 60 seconds after the restart, but Kay’s second of the game with nine minutes remaining sealed the win.
CHADDERTON went down to a 2-0 defeat at Runcorn Town in the Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Jason Carey broke the deadlock a minute before the interval, and James McShane struck in the 52nd minute.
Strugglers Oldham Boro host Leek CSOB in the NWCL Division One tonight (7.45pm kick-off).
