CRICKET: FAILSWORTH Macedonia lost at Rochdale Catholic Club in the Site Electrical North Manchester Cricket League Division One.
It was always going to be an uphill struggle for the away team, when the hosts hit the ground running, and recorded 229 for four.
The visitors made steady progress but were 44 runs short of their target when the overs ended, for the loss of seven wickets.
And there was no joy for Springhead. They were bowled out for 81 by opponents Fothergill and Harvey, who reached their goal with eight wickets in hand.
