Derby showdown tops Twenty20 programme

CRICKET: THE first group matches in this season’s John Willie Lees Twenty20 Competition take place tomorrow.
Despite the alternative attraction of a certain couple being married, matches will start at 2pm with action at eight CLL grounds.
The match with the most spice will be held at the Pollards where Oldham host arch-rivals Werneth in the South-East section.
Royton entertain Ashton in the same group, while Crompton go to Walsden in the North-East section.
Fixtures -
South-West: Clifton v Radcliffe; Unsworth v Monton and Weaste.
North-West: Middleton v Heywood; Norden v Rochdale.
South-East: Oldham v Werneth; Royton v Ashton.
North-East: Littleborough v Milnrow; Walsden v Crompton.
