ROYTON CC professional Luke Procter hit 24 and bowled three wicketless overs for 19 runs as Lancashire Lightning went down to Essex by seven wickets in their Clydesdale Bank 40 clash at Chelmsford yesterday.
Lancashire collapsed from 87 for none to 190 all out.
And that total proved well within Essex’s reach as the Eagles reached their target for the loss of three wickets, Ravi Bopara hitting an unbeaten 75 and James Foster 77.
