NEWTONHURST’S K Stone produced a hat-trick on his way to a match-winning haul of six for 20 in the Ashton and Oldham Cricket Alliance.

Champions Friends were held to a draw by Greengate.
The hosts ended on 294 for seven, thanks in no small part to Quasim’s undefeated 104 and 89 from Amjad.
Greengate finished with 179 for eight, C Hammer making 42.
Greengate ‘A’ have withdrawn from the Alliance after failing to raise the required number of players.
Imran Asghar had plenty to celebate in Glodwick’s emphatic 165-run defeat over his former club Stayley in Division One.
The 32-year-old all-rounder, who spent the early part of last season at Delph in the Drakes Huddersfield League, returned best bowling figures of seven for 28 after making 72 with the bat.
