Ice-cool Colin is Oldham star

TABLE TENNIS: COLIN Boardman justified his Inter-League final selection with a superb unbeaten stint in Oldham’s 5-4 win over Chester & Ellesmere Port.
In a match which ebbed and flowed, the town team found themselves 4-3 behind and with no margin for error.
Ian Quinn held his nerve to level proceedings with a close-fought win over Rob Wylie to set up a final-set decider.
And Boardman displayed remarkable calm under pressure to clinch the vital win over Mike Mercer.
