SNOOKER: LITTLE Cot ‘A’ are on course to land the treble in the the Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
The main title is already in the bag — they finished clear of nearest rivals High Crompton despite losing their last game of the season — and are now setting their sights on the cards crown and snooker team knock-out final.
The fight for top honours in the Cards League will go to a play-off as Little Cot ‘A’ and Royton Band ended the campaign locked together.
The team knock-out final is against Blue Club ‘B’ at North Chadd on Thursday, May 19.
Returning to the Snooker League, High Crompton finished strongly to claim runner-up spot in their first season.
Nick Broadbent’s 37 break helped St Paul’s to a 4-2 victory over Springbank ‘B’, while Springbank ‘A’ wrapped up the season in style with a 6-0 whitewash of Chadderton Reform to claim fourth place.
