HOLDERS Woodhouses crashed out of the Walkden Cup after a narrow first-round loss at Glossop.
Nick Hardman’s superb return of five for 12 saw the hosts dismissed for 116.
But Mike Cassidy’s side, having lost seven wickets, ended their innings 15 runs short of their target.
Defeat came 24 hours after an impressive victory at Denton in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League.
Woodhouses bowled out their hosts for 133 prior to completing a five-wicket win.
DELPH cruised through to the Sykes Cup third round with a comfortable victory at Armitage Bridge.
Grant Jones’ side dismissed their opponents for 160, with Arron Lilley claiming three for 33.
In-form Bilal Khiljee made 61 and Graeme Simpson added 40 as the visitors reached their target with six wickets in hand.
Delph maintained their unbeaten in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership, courtesy of a decisive win against Kirkburton.
Simpson led the way with 86 and Faisal Butt made 42 for Delph, who ended on 291 for seven.
Kirkburton were 44 runs shy of their goal and eight wickets down when their overs finished. Arron Lilley took five for 68.
MICKLEHURST lost at Cawthorne in the Cedar Court Conference.
The hosts recorded 206 before bowling out Micklehurst when Jonny Forrester’s side were still 59 runs short of their target. Forrester top scored for the visitors with 69.
