Mossley snap up Barlow

FRESH FACE... Scott Barlow.
NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY manager Gareth McClelland has made his first foray into the summer transfer market by landing Chester striker Scott Barlow.
The 22-year-old made his name at UniBond Division One outfit Trafford, where he scored 99 goals in 171 appearances.
A move to Chester in March didn’t work out for Barlow — he was handed just six substitute appearances for the Evo-Stik League Division One North champions.
But his Seel Park switch provides an opportunity to hit the goalscoring trail in Division One.
Barlow, who started his career at college level, remains Trafford’s all-time leading scorer after passing the record of 89 set by the club’s current manager Garry Vaughan.
