TWO local captains are in the Lake Garage CLL representative team to take on the Lancashire County League at Glossop CC in the Readers Inter-League Competition on Sunday week.

Oldham batsman Chris McDonnell, who has enjoyed a fine start to the season, will lead the side.

And he will have Royton’s Alan Durose in his team, the Paddock skipper having done well at the helm in recent weeks.

Former Crompton spinner Dale Highton, now playing his trade at Middleton, is also in the CLL side.

THE CLL colts will take on their Saddleworth League counterparts at Middleton CC on the same day.
