ALL THREE local National Conference League clubs are on the lookout for new head coaches, following the resignation of Waterhead's Garry Highton.
The Peach Road club, currently facing an anxious wait to find out if their re-election bid is successful, are advertising the post after the 57-year-old stepped down from his duties after a year in charge.
"Garry Highton is standing down from his coaching duties at Waterhead Rugby Club due to the change to summer rugby, with Garry having long standing commitments within the summer months," a club statement read.
"The committee and players would like to thank Garry for all of his hard work and commitment to the team and the club.
“It is hoped Garry may take up a club development role within the organisation."
Saddleworth Rangers recently saw Keith Brennan step down as head coach, while Oldham St Anne's are also seeking a new incumbent following the decision of Mick Cashin to vacate an identical role.
ANYONE interested in applying for the position at Waterhead is asked to contact chairman Peter Beswick on 07921004431.
The closing date for applications is June 25, with interviews taking place on June 28.
