Home start as Oldham look to bounce back

RUGBY: OLDHAM will kick-off the 2011-12 North Lancashire Division One season with a home fixture against Bury on September 3.
They visit one of the favourites to go up, Trafford MV, seven days later.
Oldham will have to hit the ground running as Trafford will still be smarting after losing narrowly to Egremont in last season’s promotion play-off game.
In contrast, Guy Lovegreen’s side were relegated from the North Lancs and Cumbria Division.
The Manor Park outfit can look forward to several trips closer to home, with the likes of Littleborough, Bury, Bolton, Burnley, North Manchester also lining up in the division.
Gareth Barber has been appointed Oldham captain again.
