WERNETH have the chance to break into the higher reaches of the league table when they travel to Ashton tomorrow.
The hosts are enduring a trying season and have become cannon fodder for many teams.
With eighth-placed Werneth in decent form – barring the odd blip – this should be a comfortable away win.
After being beaten by Norden last weekend, Royton face another top team in Littleborough at Hare Hill.
But they will take heart from the home side’s own lapses of late which have allowed Norden to go clear at the top of the table.
Oldham face a full-scale dress rehearsal for Sunday’s Wood Cup-tie against Walsden, while Crompton will need to repeat last weekend’s form with the bat if they are to have a chance of seeing off Rochdale at Glebe Street.
