High-fives for in-form Moss Inn
Date published: 22 June 2011
SNOOKER: LEADERS the Moss Inn continued their rich vein of form in the Manchester Three-man Summer Snooker League with an emphatic 5-1 victory at Denton Liberals.
Mick Dickenson set the ball rolling when he knocked in a break of 57 and increased the visitors’ lead by holding his nerve on the black.
Mick Webb lost his first frame, but made amends by clearing up to the brown from the two remaining reds.
And Michael Wild, although not at his best, came out on top in both of his frames to maintain Moss Inn’s 100-per-cent record.
The result also puts them in good heart for tomorrow’s home clash against nearest rivals Oldham Academy ‘D’ (8pm start).
