DELPH lost their unbeaten Drakes Huddersfield Premiership record at sunny Skelmanthorpe yesterday, although they remain at the summit, one point clear of Kirkburton.
Irfan Zahoor posted 71 as Delph made their way to 272, but the hosts — initially struggling on 45 for three — reached their target with six wickets in hand.
The scheduled match against Elland 24 hours earlier could not go ahead due to heavy rain.
Micklehurst slumped to defeat at the hands of Thongsbridge in the Cedar Court Conference.
Chasing 135, the Castle Lane outfit were given hope by captain Jonny Forrester’s 48, but they were still 47 runs short of their goal when the last wicket fell.
LUKE Swards was the star man as leaders Woodhouses saw off Cheetham Hill in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One.
After his side finished on 130 for four, Swards claimed seven for 51 to help dismiss Cheetham Hill for 99.
