BOWLS:
WATERLOO and Taunton’s Charlie Roberts and Ashley Madden teamed up to win the £160 top prize in the Bryan O’Neill Saddleworth League pairs.
The two-day event was completed at Crompton on Sunday, Roberts and Madden beating Stuart Crabtree and Brian Yates 17-14 in the final.
