DELPH travel to Marsden tomorrow in the Drakes Huddersfield Premiership with the unfamiliar sting of defeat.
Grant Jones’ side, currently top of the league, suffered their first defeat of a highly-promising season last time out, at the hands of Skelmanthorpe.
With everything having gone their way up until that point, it will be interesting to see how they bounce back against 10th-placed Marsden.
Despite their loss, Delph are one point clear of Kirkburton and will look to increase the gap this weekend.
Micklehurst aim to recover from back-to-back defeats when they go to Rastrick in the Cedar Court Conference.
After a mini-revival, Jonny Forrester’s team were beaten by Kirkheaton and Thongsbridge and are back down in fifth position in the table.
LEADERS Woodhouses entertain Denton St Lawrence at Medlock Road in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League.
Having won 10 out of 12 games so far this term, Mike Cassidy’s side are one point ahead of second-placed Prestwich, who play host to Stand tomorrow.
Denton St Lawrence are fourth in the table, 14 points behind Woodhouses, who go into the clash full of confidence after a comfortable win over Cheetham Hill.
