GOLF: FIONA Dooley, the lady vice-captain, claimed top honours in Werneth’s lady captain’s day competition.
Played over 36 holes, she recorded rounds of 78-5-73 and 76-5-71 for a 144 total and a three-shot victory.
The runner-up on a card play-off was Steph Cocks (113-36-77 and 108-36-72=149).
ANGELA Sloan stormed to victory in Brookdale’s first major of the season, the Millennium Trophy.
Her score of 75-10-65 was much too good for the rest of the field, headed by Angie Hunter round of 93-20-73.
