Tanner Cup ties washed out

CRICKET:
PLAY was postponed due to rain at Heyside’s Saddleworth and District Cricket League Tanner Cup semi-final against Glodwick.
With adverse elements also putting paid to any chance of Greenfield hosting competition holders Bamford Fieldhouse, the last-four ties will take place this Sunday — the reserve date.
If the weather intervenes again, play will continue each night thereafter until a result is achieved.
