Fair play award joy for Park

FOOTBALL:
CHADDERTON Park have won the Manchester FA Fair Play award for the second successive year.
The club were chosen from a shortlist of clubs by an FA panel.
Their enthusiasm for the Respect campaign, which was introduced to encourage players, coaches and fans to show more tolerance for referees and their assistants.
A spokesperson for Chadderton Park said: “We have an excellent disciplinary record and show an outstanding commitment to the Respect campaign.”
Officials from the club will collect a £200 cheque for winning the award.
Meanwhile, Chadderton Park under-sevens Griffins also had cause for celebration after beating Dukinfield Juniors 1-0.
