Failsworth fall to defeat

FAILSWORTH Macedonia suffered defeat at the hands of Westleigh Meths in the Site Electrical North Manchester League Division One.

They were restricted to 165 for five before Meths reached the target with three wickets to spare.

And there was no better news for strugglers Springhead — the basement boys were bowled out for 85 by Rochdale Catholic Club, who cruised to victory without losing a wicket.

Sunday’s entire league schedule was washed out by heavy rain.
