CRICKET: ONE of the most eagerly-anticipated games of the season takes place tomorrow when Woodhouses travel to leaders Prestwich in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One, .

The Medlock Road outfit trail their rivals by just four points, which they hope to make up with a crucial away-day triumph.

Mike Cassidy’s side complete a busy weekend when they go to Flowery Field 24 hours later.

DELPH play host to Golcar in the last four of the Huddersfield League’s Twenty Cup tonight (6.30pm).
Grant Jones’ side hit the road to Shepley tomorrow in the Premiership, with an opportunity to extend their four-point lead at the summit.

But Delph’s opponents will be no pushovers. The hosts are enjoying a decent season and occupy fifth position in the table.

The same cannot be said about Micklehurst in the Cedar Court Conference.

After a plucky start to the campaign, Jonny Forrester’s side now find themselves just one place and a solitary point above basement boys Lascelles Hall.

Tomorrow the Castle Lane outfit go to Armitage Bridge in urgent need of a win.
