Super Sutcliffe lands his treble
Date published: 27 July 2011
GOLF: KRIS Sutcliffe made it a hat-trick of honours by scooping the Club Championship at Crompton and Royton, a scratch major.
The 39-year-old one-handicapper, who has also in recent weeks won the District Championship at Saddleworth and the Royton Sword, carded rounds of 73 and 74 for a 147 total that was enough to take him one shot clear of James C Frizzell (70+78=148).
