Avro stripped of league title

FOOTBALL: AVRO have been stripped of their Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester League Premier Division title after inadvertently breaking the rules.
Phil Brown’s team were docked three points for fielding suspended defender Matthew Edge.
Avro, who did not know Edge had been sent off for Sunday League team Moston Villa, have decided not to appeal. Manchester Gregorians become champions.
