CRICKET:
IMRAN Aslam became the first Uppermill player to take 100 wickets in a season when Austerlands professional Humayun Farhat holed out to Michael Bird last Sunday.
Not since Flowery Field’s Mohammed Azim achieved the feat in 2001 has someone reached the landmark in the Saddleworth and District Cricket League.
