Delph out in front

CRICKET: DELPH are still hold sway in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership after an emphatic eight-wicket defeat of Slaithwaite.
Bilal Khiljee and Adnan Ghaus, with skix for 22 and four for 45 respectively, shot out the home side for just 68 – after an opening partnership of 21.
It would have been so much worse for Slaithwaite, but for a last-wcket stand of 25.
Despite losing Irfan Zahoor and Graeme Simpson cheaply, Delph made light work of the target, achieving victory in the 10th over.
Delph remain six points clear of Kirkburton, who overcame Shepley by nine wickets.
MICKLEHURST were dismissed for exactly 100 in reply to Thongsbridge’s 204 for four in the Cedar Court Conference.
