Rangers hope to catch Marlins

RUGBY: SADDLEWORTH Rangers bid to get last week's thrashing out of their system as they take on Milford Marlins at Greenfield tomorrow (2.30pm).
Following the departure of Martin Crompton on the eve of the season, Emerson Jackman is at the helm for the second time as head coach.
Jackman is bidding to get a transitional Rangers side — featuring a host of second-team and under-18s players — off the mark in the National Conference League Interim campaign following a 52-6 opening weekend reverse at Siddal.
Waterhead, 38-22 losers to Oldham St Anne's last week, are at home to Castleford Lock Lane (2.30pm), while Saints travel to Widnes West Bank (2.30pm).
