Swards cuts through opposition

CRICKET: LUKE Swards claimed seven for 29 as Woodhouses bowled out Roe Green for 56 in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One, before winning the match by eight wickets.
It came 24 hours after they clocked up 170 for seven against Stand, who were restricted to 136 for seven.
DELPH saw their lead at the top of the Drakes Huddersfield Premiership cut to two points following a home defeat to second-placed Kirkburton.
The hosts finished with 238 for nine, with Irfan Zahoor notching 74, but Kirkburton won by five wickets.
Cedar Court Conference action saw Micklehurst make 278 for nine against Lascelles Hall before dismissing the bottom side for 142.
