CRICKET: TITLE hopefuls Woodhouses welcome Denton West to Medlock Road tomorrow in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One.

Mike Cassidy’s side trail leaders Prestwich by 11 points. The top two are the only teams mathematically capable of clinching top spot.

With four matches remaining, Prestwich remain firm favourites to clinch title glory.

LEADERS Delph travel to third-placed Honley tomorrow in the Drakes Huddersfield Premiership.
With five games left it is tight at the top — Grant Jones’ men are just three points clear of tomorrow’s opponents and one ahead of second-placed Kirkburton.

Sunday sees Delph hit the road again when they head to Hoylandswaine.

Basement boys Micklehurst go to Cawthorne tomorrow in the Cedar Court Conference.

Jonny Forrester’s team are a point behind nearest rivals Lascelles Hall and trail Kirkheaton by three points.

The Castle Lane outfit have three fixtures left this term and will be looking to finish on a positive note.
