Curley quick on the draw

FOOTBALL: JAMES Curley scored after just 12 seconds as Chadderton earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Nelson in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Curley smashed the ball home in the first attack of the game.
James Powrie equalised for Nelson after half-an-hour, but Matthew Chadwick helped the visitors regain the lead six minutes before the break after a superb solo run.
Jerome Matthews restored parity with 15 minutes remaining, But when Curley was felled in the box with seconds of the game remaining, Chadwick smashed home the resulting penalty.
OLDHAM Boro suffered a 3-1 home reverse at the hands of Ashton Town in NWCL Division One.
Mark Coyne gave Boro a flying start by netting after eight minutes.
But Lee Brooks equalised after an hour, and two goals in five minutes from Lee Carroll and James Rushton-Woods sealed the win.
MOSSLEY slumped to a 3-1 defeat at Skelmersdale United in Evo-Stik League Division One North.
Tom Ingham finished well to put the Lilywhites in front on the stroke of half-time.
But goals from Robert McIntosh, Paul Woolcott and Shaun Tuck sealed victory for the hosts.
