A ROUND of 70-6-64 was enough to see Gary Lever claim the Sid Jones Cup, a major at BROOKDALE.
In a tightly-contested competition, card play-offs were needed to separate the whole of the top-five.
Gavin Hulse (74-10-64) was just behind Lever, with Jordan Wood (79-15-64) third, Steve Todd (80-16-64) fourth and Phil Jamieson (76-12-64) fifth.
Colin Renwick secured the Johnson Cup, a bogey competition and also a major, with a return of two up.
Mike Fogo, also two up, was second while third-placed Paul Holt had the same score.
Peter Bacon was one up in fourth.
BEN Simpson shot 71-4-67 to win the President’s Prize at Saddleworth.
Next was Roy Dobson (79-11-68), on the card from David Pullen (72-4-68).
