Heyside target LCB Cup place

CRICKET:

HEYSIDE can nail down their place in next season’s LCB Cup this weekend.

Nick Campbell’s side, who are second in the Armstrongs Office Furniture Saddleworth and District Cricket League, play host to Greenfield tomorrow and visit Moorside on Sunday.

Saddleworth can also put their name in the hat for the first-round draw if they get the better of Friarmere, who have outside hopes of a top-five finish, and Glodwick.
