DELPH kept alive their hopes of snatching the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership title with a six-wicket defeat of Shelley yesterday.
Adnan Ghaus took six for 18 and Aaron Lilley grabbed three for five as their opponents were shot out for 78.
It means they are still in the race for top spot as an intriguing season, during which Delph often sat at the summit, approaches its conclusion.
Delph are three points behind Honley, the leaders, and a point adrift of second-placed Kirkburton with one game to go.
Saturday's match against Scholes was abandoned with Delph 82 for three in reply to 230 for eight.
In the Cedar Court Conference, basement boys Micklehurst (153) went down by seven wickets to champions Armitage Bridge.
