FA Cup KO for Mossley
Date published: 07 September 2011
NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY crashed out of the FA Cup at the preliminary round stage following a 4-0 thumping at Runcorn Linnets last night.
Sean Pearson opened the scoring after 24 minutes, and it looked an uphill struggle for the Lilywhites when Kevin Towey struck five minutes before the interval.
Second half strikes from Chris Dykes (47) and Rob Bodie (77) compounded Mossley’s misery.
