FOOTBALL: LIMESIDE enjoyed a 5-1 triumph over Chaddy End in the D & J Builders (North-West) Ltd Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division.
W Ware scored a hat-trick for the hosts, and was joined on the scoresheet by J Bond and K Diamond.
M Leaming notched a consolation goal for Chaddy End.
Prolific marksman R Quinlan netted for FC Royton but they went down to a 2-1 defeat at Rifle Range ‘A’ after goals from N Eastmond and L Mallet.
Rifle Blues won 2-1 against Oddies, with Greaves
Oldham Sunday League and Oakes on target for the winners and L Perry replying for the away outfit.
It was all-square at Fitton Hill, who drew 3-3 with High Crompton.
A Smith scored a treble for the visitors, while Fitton had G Armstead, P Badby and an own goal to thank for earning them a point.
Avro star Garmary’s magnificent seven
PADDY Garmary took his tally for the season to seven with a brace in Avro’s 4-2 win against Heywood St James in the Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester League Premier Division.
Dale Clark and Mike Barnes-Gott also netted for Phil Brown’s in-form men, who occupy top spot in the table and are one of the favourites to win the title. Elsewhere Royton Town drew 2-2 at Hindsford.
Three in a row for Santos
SANTOS sealed their third successive win in the Lancashire and Cheshire League Division One by seeing off hosts Heaton Mersey 4-1.
Jonny Phillips notched a brace, and was joined on the scoresheet by Chris Stockton and Roufaye Diliwar.
Premier Division action saw AFC Oldham lose 3-2 at home to Cheadle Hulme Villa.
