High-fives for superb Springbank

SNOOKER:
Springbank ‘A’ continued their impressive start to the Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League season with an emphatic 5-1 victory at North Chadd.
Danny Dawson was busy making headlines of his own for Moss Inn.
With his side 2-1 behind and a whopping 118 points adrift on aggregate against Three C’s ‘A’, Dawson was given the task of playing Addy Hussain.
There was nothing to separate them on paper — both players were off a handicap of minus 12 — but a break of 60 from the Moss Inn ace not only put the frames level, it also clawed back some valuable aggregate points.
In the cards table, North Chadds 3-1 victory over Springbank ‘A’ kept their noses in front of Three C’s ‘B’.
