RUGBY: FRESH from their first win of the National Conference League interim campaign, Saddleworth Rangers play host to Stanningley tomorrow.
A narrow 40-34 victory at home to Ovenden kicked-started the Greenfield outfit’s campaign in Group ‘C’ after three straight defeats.
Meanwhile, Oldham St Anne’s are confident Luke Wallace, who broke his tibia and fibula in the victory over Eccles last Saturday, will return for the start of the summer league campaign in March.
Wallace was released from hospital on Wednesday after having two pins inserted in his left-leg.
St Anne’s, who are second in Group ‘E’, welcome Castleford Panthers to Higginshaw Road tomorrow.
In the same pool, Waterhead have welcome Normanton Knights.
