Date published: 21 September 2011
SNOOKER: LITTLE Cot ‘A’, the reigning champions, are in the mix for back-to-back Pet Au Purrs Oldham Amateur Snooker League titles.
Breaks of 40, 33 and 52 from Martin Kennedy inspired his side to 5-1 and 4-2 victories over Springbank ‘B’ and Deaf ‘A’ respectively.
Meanwhile, a break of 31 by High Crompton’s A Bamford was enough to seal the opening frame at home to Chadderton Reform, but the visitors hit back to record their second 5-1 victory of the week and climb into third place.
A delegates meeting takes place at Chadderton Reform on Sunday (12.30pm).
