GOLF: JOYCE Adams, with a score of 104-30-74, won Crompton and Royton’s five-club event.
In the hidden holes competition, Jenny Kenworthy claimed victory with a score of 46-11.5=34.5
JEAN Clarke (31 points) won a two-ball Stableford at Brookdale after a back-nine card play-off, from Angie Hunter.
VICTORIOUS in the silver division of Oldham’s nine-hole Turkey competition was Mary Buckley with 21 points. Joint second on 18 points were Marjorie Bray (Crompton and Royton) and Wendy Cash.
