FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY go to Ossett Albion tomorrow in the Evo-Stik League Division One North looking to bounce back from their FA Trophy exit at Brigg Town last time out.
Gareth McClelland must do without wing-back Cavell Coo, who again misses out with a hamstring strain.
One man who definitely won’t be involved is defender Nick Swirad — he has departed Seel Park for Ashton United after failing to secure a regular starting berth.
CHADDERTON go into tomorrow’s Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One match against Daisy Hill without midfielder Leon Melia, who has work commitments.
Boss Paul Buckley anticipates a difficult encounter and believes it could be one of the most unpredictable seasons in years.
“The beauty of this division is that anyone can beat anyone, you just don’t know what is around the corner,” he said.
“It will be another tough one this weekend. A defeat can take us close to the bottom group of clubs, while a win catapults us closer to the top-five.”
OLDHAM Boro travel to Ashton Town in the NWCL Division One.
